Edward Franklin Patterson, Jr.

Edward F. Patterson, 79, of Hot Springs Village, AR passed away on Friday, February 21, 2014. Ed was born on June 14, 1934 to the late Edward Franklin Patterson and Addie Pearl (Lazenby) Patterson in Memphis, TN.
Mr. Patterson worked for the Cotton Board for over 40 years in Memphis, TN.
He was a member of the University of Arkansas Alumni, SAE at The University of Arkansas, The Eagle Scouts and served as a Captain in the US Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 42 years, Kaye Patterson.
His survivors include his son Edward Patterson III of Utah, daughter Rebecca Carey of Hot Springs Village, 3 grandchildren: Rachel Carey, Emily and Holden Laman, and one brother, Gordon Patterson of South Carolina.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at CedarVale Funeral Home Chapel, Visitation will be at 1:00PM prior to the service.
In Lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN. 38105.
